Maybe that's why the Bible tells us that we must "always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have" (I Peter 3:15). God wants us to be ready to give solid answers to people who get curious when they see us live and give our faith. Soul Fuel will help you become effective and relevant to those who are seeking Christ or are trying to tweak their Christianity. Parents Dinner: We realize that the parent is the most influential person in every student's life, so we want to enjoy a dinner with you and discuss how the youth ministry can support you best. We'd also love to hear how your teenager is doing spiritually so we know better how to encourage him/her at church. Sign-ups for parents will be made available both at the youth kisok at church and on our website. Wake 'n Ski: Almost every Sunday Jr. Hig and Sr. High students get together at someone's house enjoy an afternoon of water skiing, tubing, wake boarding, knee boarding and more. Afterwards we feast on a cookout together and do a quick 10-minute Bible lesson that's outreach oriented for your pre-saved friends that you invite. The cost is $5/person to help cover gas and food, but your unchurched friends come free!Make sure you're on our TXT message list so you get instant last-minute cancelations notices if the weather goes bad or the location changes. May ParentLink: Teenagers and Jobs This month's topic is teenagers and jobs. Just in time for the approaching summer, your family can start talking about whether kids are ready to work. It also dives into other aspects of employment. Together your family can explore attitudes about work, what kind of rewards your teens expect from their jobs, and how they know when they're overworking.
